Description
Hand knotted in wool originating from Turkey circa 1890-1900, this antique rug connotes an interesting Kazak tribal rug design employing a transitional pallet of rich red, blue, nad beige-gold notes with a pagination of bisected colorway emphasis and geometry. The gradual variations in bright and rich hues from the top to bottom of this piece lend the symmetry a more engaging sense of movement than even some of our previous selections in the antique Kazak rug family; a welcomed addition to the Antique & Vintage Rug Collection from Rug & Kilim.
