Description
An antique 13×13 Agra rug in beige and blue, hand knotted in all cotton originating from India circa 1910-1920. A time-honored lineage, often notably used by the Maharajas of India for their homes in the summer.
Further on the Design: An accent of gold with peach notes reads so beautifully in the pattern, complementing the movement with regal distinction. Likewise, the inviting shade of blue plays naturally with the rare square rug size, ideal in centering a space. This marriage of color and comfortable, sophisticated pattern in large size exemplifies Josh’s favorite Agra carpets of this period. Further enjoying good condition for its age and origin
